'Frozen In Time, Hong Kong'

'Frozen in Time' - This is a painting based on my recent trip to Hong Kong. The crazy, bustling, hectic city streets...so full of people, noise, colour and vibrancy...narrow alley ways, like gateways to other worlds, in between zones, limbo places...quite and still, puddles, dripping pipes, trash and the gentle hum of multiple air conditioning units...gazing upwards, squinting at the sun light far far above...the complicated network of cables and pipes, snaking their way upwards, like a giant power station...a quiet place away from the chaos just outside, time standing motionless....moments frozen in time
