U.S. Rangers 1st Battalion WW2 war memorial mural - The U.S. Rangers unit was created in Carrickfergus during WW2 and saw combat in Europe to help defeat the Nazis and secure outr freedoms and liberty that we enjoy today - The local council wanted a memorial to this important part of history which is little known. It's also a memorial for all those whos served to defeat evil during WW2 - lest we forget
