'Barcelona - Summer Light'

'Barcelona - Summer Light' - Here's my new painting, based on my recent trip, painting murals in beautiful Barcelona. On my evening wanderings around the stunning city, I was struck by the quite unique lighting that filled the city towards sunset and also sunrise. Intense, beams of light filling the narrow, hot streets with intense, blinding light, the whole place full of life and energy. In light of recent tragic events, I was compelled to paint this, to show Barcelona, at it's best, a beautiful city, with amazing people.
